NYX FACE Awards First Challenge
Hi lovelies! I’m so anxious right now, I just sent in my video submission for the first round of the competition. I’m also pretty excited for you guys to see what I came up with, video editing included lol. I spent so much time on my intro and I kinda wish I didn’t. I randomly got an idea to animate a part of it in Adobe After Effects and as soon as I started working on it, I remembered why I vowed to never use that program again 😭😭😭 It’s so tough if you don’t know what you’re doing…and I honestly don’t really know how to use it properly. I kinda figure things out along the way since most Adobe products are slightly similar when it comes to tools and actions but after 6 hours I finally finished the first 4 seconds of my intro 😂
But about the actual look itself, when the theme for the first challenge was announced, my mind immediately went to something over the top and extravagant. From there I started to think of how I feel when I wear makeup, which is bold, glamorous, mysterious, fierce, royal…basically bougie as heck and super glam! I wanted to create a visual of all of those feelings in one, so what you’re seeing is exactly how I feel on the inside when I put on a freshly beat face 😂
For the first challenge, the 20 people with the most votes move on to the next challenge so voting 3 times a day every day from the 18th of May to the 24th would be super super helpful and I would really appreciate it if you have a chance to vote!
The video tutorial can be found below the photos ♥
So what do you think? Yay or nay? Did I capture the bougie glam mysterious vibe I was going for? 😂 Let me know your thoughts below in the comment section.
Don’t forget to vote when you can! Until next time ♥
