P. Louise Base – One of the Best Eyeshadow Bases ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

I’ve heard so much about these P. Louise Bases and have seen them in action on Instagram videos, but I never actually bought them because they were always sold out. I recently checked out their site and most of the colors I wanted were in stock so I snatched some up and put them in my cart.ย  For the past few years, I’ve been using concealer and I keep hearing that these bases are a million times better so I’m definitely excited to try them out!

PRODUCT DEETS:
+ Product: P. Louise Base
+ Price: $11.00
+ Description: A creamy base that creates an amazing canvas for eyeshadows
+ Shades: There are over 10 shades but I bought “Badda Black”, “Shade 4”, “Shade 0”, “Winter Rose”, “Rude Boy Red”, and “No Games”
+ Where It’s Available: www.plouise.co.uk

WHAT’S GOOD ABOUT IT: The fact that you can cut a crease with these and not use eyeshadow is enough for me! If you want your shadows to be brighter, you can use a base lighter than your skin tone and whatever color you use will pop. The formula is super creamy, thick, and it doesn’t crack at all.

AND THE NOT SO GOOD:ย So far, there aren’t any downsides to this product. A while before I purchased, I heard that shipping takes forever but when I ordered, it shipped the next day and arrived 3 days later.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW: You can use these products as an eyeshadow base to make powder shadows stand out more, on it’s own if you like the color, to cut a crease, or as eyeliner if you have the right brushes. It’s super versatile. Also, the nude colored bases work very well for covering up brow hairs if you haven’t had time to get them done, or if you just want to switch the shape up.

MY OVERALL THOUGHTS:
If you wear eyeshadow frequently or if you want to begin, I would definitely get at least one of these bases. A good shade to start out with is one similar to your skin tone or a tiny bit lighter to make your shadows more vibrant. Overall, I give this product two thumbs up.
